This kit is designed to use readily available material to create a project. The goal is to teach students to become creative in developing their STEM project.

The kit will include all the material required to build the Dragon. The breadboard jumper wires will be included and use. Some interconnections may require soldering or usage of wire nuts  The wire nuts will be provided in the kit.

This kit utilizes three servo motors. One is used to control the mouth, one used to rotate the head and one used to move the wings.   

The  project can be painted by the student.  The paint and bruches are not included in the kit. 

The LEDs on the eyes can be programmed to blink, etc.

Electrical schematic diagram is included in the kit. 

Programming

  • The student can program the Dragon using Mblock, Python and C++ Programming   Example code for the Arduino will be included in the kit. An Arduino is included in the kit.

  • Additional Information

    • Be careful when using the tools,  If you are not sure on how to use the tool ask your instructor or person in charge.  

    • Fire Hazard -- Incorrectly connection the plus(+) and minus (-) power connections may result in damage to the hardware or cause a fire.

    • Don’t touch the microcontroller or electronic hardware with your hands since static discharge may cause damage.   

    • Incorrect connections may damage the hardware therefore double check the connections before applying power.

    • Choking Hazards.  The product may contain small parts, sharp points, plastic Please keep away from small children.  

    • Please place the product in a dry environment to avoid damage to the product.

    • Replacement parts maybe available for additional cost.
