3D Printed Satellite Project
The parts for the satellite are 3D printed and are Hot glued together. This kit is designed for implementing coding since it is very easy to assemble. The color of the satellite shown on the maybe different than in the project kit
The satellite will track a light source(flashlight). All the material required will be furnished. A toolkit may be purchased separately. The tool kit needs to be purchase.
The satellite uses a light sensor for the sensing the vertical and horizontal positions of the light source and move the body and solar array wings until the light energy is focused on the sensors.
The satellite uses two servos. One servo is used to rotate the body and the second servo is used to rotate the solar wings
The satellite will have common interface connector so an Arduino or Raspberry Pi can be used.
Assembly and electrical schematic drawings are included in the kit.
All wiring is included in the kit.
Soldering is required.
Assembly drawings, electrical schematics will be included in the project kit.
Programming
The student can program the Satellite using Mblock, Python and C++ Programming Example code for the Arduino will be included in the kit. An Arduino is included in the kit.
